Baby E-Mun,

Today is the 8th day of Chinese New Year. We had gone through the first CNY together. Anyway this was not a good experience; you are so “sticky”. We brought you back to mummy’s hometown; there are so many uncles and aunties wish to hug you, or perhaps just play with you, you just refuse and non stop crying. Both of our hands and legs no more feeling after few days took care of you... muscle pain seriously. You collected a lot of ang pow, mummy will keep all the ang pow and give you when you are wise enough to use them.

These few days rain very frequent and further more we brought you to daddy’s friend house for party and coincident that uncle’s baby was having flu… so end up you got sick! We feel so heart pain and so worry. This is the first time you fall sick. We pray hope you get well soon.

Oh ya, we start planning your first birthday party now; not sure you like it or not, we plan to have it at KFC fast food restaurant.

E-Mun

Phew! What a busy December!! Uncle Fatt Yee married with aunty Pei Ling early December, followed by daddy’s 30th birthday, Chinese festival Tung Zhi, xmas and new year!! This month we also declare bankrupt.. We over spent for all these “celebration”.

We are watching a series; the story is about three sisters and their marriage. Sometimes mummy will also think about your future, what are you going to be? Who will you marry with? Etc etc… mummy just hope you become an independent and successful lady, and of course mummy also hope you will marry with a good and successful man.

This is the first time daddy celebrate his birthday with you. Mummy brought daddy a small blueberry cheese cake; we ate the cheese cake together. Of course you love it so much!

E-Mun is 8 months now

Hi baby,

Mummy had finally joined a new company, HLBB. After so many years with ABMB, mummy feel bit worry to quit the job. Anyway mummy had taken a big steps to move forward. Mummy got to work extra hard now to adopt faster to the new environment, of course at the same time got to prove my ability to earn respect from others. The only worry is mummy would not have a lot of time to spend with you.

This coming xmas we plan to bring you for vocation since mummy will have long holiday. We have identified few places eg Singapore, Hong Kong, A Famosa, Tiara Beach, etc. However we end up decided to go Genting Highland. It’s difficult for us to bring you overseas at your age simply because we worry you might not suitable to drink water out there. You might laugh at us when u know this, but u would not understand our feeling till you become a mother. Anyway at the same time we brought air ticket to Hong Kong next year September; you will be one year plus by that time. We target to bring you for travelling every year.

You are now almost 8 months! What a big milestone for us! Your development still slow, you cant crawl still and no sign of teeth growing, but you can sit steadily and managed to turn over your body. We are a bit worried but doctor Antony explained to us, according to him crawling is not a milestone for development but walking yes.

Last weekend when we shopped at Ikea to buy xmas tree; someone from advertising firm approached us to let you participate in an advertisement. The advertisement is meant for “Dentol” (household product). We gone through the story board, the story required you to crawl and pick up something from floor and put in your mouth. After further consideration, mummy rejected the offer or rather the chance mainly because you cant crawl and also mummy is not favor of this.

Daddy is busy setting up the xmas tree now. We are sure you would like the xmas tree as we are going to decorate it with lots of shinning and colorful stuff and LED.

You are 6.5 months old now; becoming much naughtier. Or should I say you are getting smarter and more active? There are many advices on how to educate you; but daddy and mummy have no planning on how to educate you at this stage. We do whatever that benefits you, do everything that make you happy.

Sometimes you still cry when sleep with us. Is it because you need to see the pink flower light in your room? We are very confused. You seem to like us so much; we play with you, talk to you, and bring you out. You like to stick with us and always demand us to carry you. So how come you don’t like to sleep with us?

Mummy’s boss, Ms Mak just delivered her first baby at her age of 49! We felt so happy and glad for her. She delivered a baby boy; so you will soon know a new “boy” friend! You must not bully the small baby, k?! While we are still happy for her and her husband, we got to know sad news; Ms Mak mother passed away 15 days after she delivered her baby. The worst part is she cant even go home to see her mum’s last face and attend the funeral. From heaven drop to hell; the feeling must be very bad. Mummy felt so sad for her as well. Life is so unpredictable!

Time flies my small little baby is almost 6 months old now. You play a lot now a days; very very playful and naughty baby! You are now more than 8 kg, can you just imagine how difficult for us to carry you shopping around? Anyway mummy and daddy are very happy and satisfy with your development. You start to mumble a lot and you can easily recognize our sound. Many people say you are a smart girl. Mummy and daddy hope our little E-Mun can grow up with right attitude rather than only smart but lazy girl.

Mummy will be joining new company soon. Hopefully will have better prospect and of course earn more so that you can have better life style. At the same time, we both also worry once mummy join new company, we cant have so much family time. When you are big enough to read this blog, perhaps you can tell mummy whether you had a good / memorable childhood or not. J

Recently there are many cases where milky items were poisoned, especially baby milk powder, ice creams and other products. In China, there are so many babies died or some diagnosed kidney stone after drinking those milking product. We are very worrying bout you, we plan to bring you to Dr Antony again for ultra sound check up. Baby, you are such a precious to us, hope you grow up well.

Last weekend we brought you to Penang. This could consider your first trip. Anyway this was not a very fun experience. Mummy and daddy very tired comforting you. Even you are just three months plus but surprisingly you can recognize the hotel. Further more you only want grandma to feed you and carry you. Mummy and daddy felt so sad and disappointed. Mummy had gone through so painful labor process and daddy mummy play with you before you sleep every day. Haiz… If mummy were to frequent travel; very soon you will forget us.

However you grown up day by day; mummy and daddy enjoy watching your development. Ya. We really brought you to “Ah Yat Restaurant” to eat abalone to celebrate your 100 days!! You tasted the abalone happily!

BB, it has been quite sometime mummy didn’t write to you.. Mummy started work since end May. There were so many natural disaster happened in the world! Among all, Sze Chuan earth quake was the worst one. Then wind disaster at Myanmar. Flood at Hong Kong, China, Philippe and Taiwan. Whenever mummy read this type of news, I will pray in my heart all this disaster would not happen to you, my little princess.

Anyway no matter what happen out there, you are still the only important thing in mummy’s and daddy’s heart. Your health, your development is the most important thing for us now. Every single moment is so precious for us. You started talk to us very often in your own language of course, “ung-gu”, “kirrrr”, “errrr”. Oh how wonder life is when you willing to play, laugh and “manja” with us.

There was a new job offered to mummy but travel required, mummy don’t know if I will regret some other time later but somehow now daddy and mummy also do not want to leave bb here with grandmom alone. We decided not to accept job that required frequent travel. At least at this moment mummy and daddy want to accompany bb every single development.

We are looking forward to celebrating your 100 days!! This will be our brand new milestone for us now. According to grandmom, those old days’ people used to celebrate baby’s 100 days with drumstick. The baby must taste the drumstick indicate he would never lack of food in future. We planned to bring you to eat abalone!! Haha.. see how much daddy and mummy love you.

We brought you to visit doctor Antony yesterday, you gain so much weight! From born 3.25kg to now 6.7kg within 3 months!! Luckily doctor said you are not over weight yet, but everyone meet you also commented you are very chubby! See the attached picture, picture taken only 2.5 months. Aunty Jeannie said you have a “pumpkin” face!
