Dear princess,

Just read from paper, there was a news bout a new born baby died because of doctor’s mistake. Daddy and mummy felt so sorry for the parent, they must be very painful to lose their baby after nine month pregnancy and long hour labor pain. We feel glad that Dr Paul is a responsible doctor and we had chosen a well-equip hospital to deliver you.

After all we have to surrender.. Now we had decided to take turn take care of you in the night time. Yesterday grandma said you woke up at 2 in the morning and refuse to sleep till mummy came and pick u at 4. You still refuse to sleep even after mummy gave you breast milk. Oh princess, you only slept at 7 in the morning. The worst thing is whenever we are so frustrated with you; you will look at us and start smiling… Who told us baby at this stage doesn’t know anything!!

You seem do not have a specific “pattern” no matter sleeping hour or milk volume. We can only “serve” you upon “demand”, whenever you cry. Daddy starts to understand your “crying pattern”, can tell whether you want milk or just want our hug. Haiz… our little baby, when are you going to grow up?

A daughter is one of the most beautiful gifts this world has to give.
